Below you'll find some of my impressions of our class trip to Stoke-On-Trent. Enjoy.

Before us students from Gloucestershire University all headed off to shoot our assignments we went to a local pub for a bite to eat. Shown here is my classmate Andy Hussey, probably contemplating what he should shoot for his project.

During my wanderings across Hanley City Centre, I found this neon sign in a shop window. I liked the reflection of my surroundings paired with the retro looking sign.

While walking around Hanley I discovered "Neon East" a shop that sells secondhand fashion and curiosities from Japan. Their main focus is to bring Japanese street styles such as Visual Key and Cosplay to the UK.

On my second day in Stoke-On-Trent I accompanied my friend Loo to a stroll along the canal. Shown here is one of Stoke's canals passing under a bridge near Wharf Place.

Photobucket
During my journey along the canal, a gentleman with a dog passed me and as the 2 of them were fading into the bright sunlight I took my chance to capture the moment.

After a long day of shooting I had fun relaxing with photojournalist student Callum Wilson from Staffordshire University, who was generous enough to let my classmate and me sleep over in his hall of residence.
